A Brief Introduction

Taking a break from mural work in the hot panhandle sun.

Hi! I’m Jacob. And to be honest, I’m just an odd human with an odd set of skills and a deeply persistent drive to learn new things.

I am a husband and the father of three crazy, amazing, and beautiful kids. I am a working builder, sculptor, painter, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the world of fine art, education, and marketing. I hold a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Texas. My early career was spent as the Education Director of the Amarillo Museum of Art, an Exhibitions Builder at the Don Harrington Discovery Center, and as the Development Director for High Plains Public Radio.

I am currently the CEO of Process Art House, LLC, a founder and operations manager of Modern Creator, a founding member and artist's liaison of The Collective Heritage Lab, 501c(3), and a founder and active board member of the High Plains Institute for Arts and Ecology, 501c(3).

As a businessman, I have won several awards including the Top Twenty Under Forty Award for Business Excellence, the Top Amarillo Small Business Award, and was a recipient of the $100,000 EnterPrize Challenge Grant in 2014.

As an artist, I have sold well over 300 works to collectors all across the world, been commissioned to do work for hospitals, banks, and children's centers, have developed and installed large-scale projects for the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset UK, the City of Amarillo, and numerous clients in the Texas region. I currently sit on the Immersive and Community Arts Committee and am a former member of the Amarillo City Advisory Board for Beautification and Public Art.
